Gaming Regulator Approves Casino Plan
CROWN'S move to spend $568 million to develop Perth's first six-star hotel on Burswood Peninsula will be underwritten by a big expansion of gaming facilities at the site, after Western Australia's gaming regulator yesterday approved the plan.
The Gaming and Wagering Commission of Western Australia approved the James Packer-backed company's plans to include an additional 500 electronic gaming machines and an extra 100 table games at the new hotel complex, to be phased in over five and four years respectively..................
