GTECH Donate Computers for Disadvantaged Children

 
TRINIDAD, TOBAGO (November 28, 2012) -- GTECH recently donated eight new fully loaded computers with specialised educational software to the Cyril Ross Nursery in Tunapuna. The company also refurbished the computer room, painting and installing computer desks and chairs.

Roger Bolai, GTECH’s Country Manager said at the handing over ceremony, “GTECH is pleased to donate these computers to the children of the Cyril Ross Nursery as part of our After School Advantage programme. It is one step towards helping children develop valuable computer skills for today’s information technology driven economy, and will help provide them with greater opportunity, and give them an advantage when they enter the job market someday.” He added “Our Company’s position is that no child should be left behind in spite of their socio, economic, physical or mental condition.” Bolai praised the Cyril Ross Nursery for its remarkable and important function................
